Kevin Magnussen joins Eriksen and Wozniacki

STATE has signed a five-year contract with Formula 1 racing driver Kevin Magnussen. He will in future be found on posters and other advertisements for STATE together with Caroline Wozniacki and Christian Eriksen. Thus, the three biggest Danish sports names are now united around the new Danish energy drink.

- With Kevin Magnussen on the team, we are taking an important step towards showing that STATE can be used by all types of athletes and a wider segment of consumers. Kevin is among the best in the world in his field, and we now have the three biggest sports stars in Denmark. This is of course a big blue stamp on our product, and something that should be impossible for a company of our size, says founder and director of STATE, Jon Andersen.

This year Kevin Magnussen has seriously established his name in Formula 1. After three seasons with British McLaren and French Renault respectively, Magnussen has since 2017 driven for
American Haas F1 Team. His best career finish so far is a second place at the Australian Grand Prix in March 2014.

- As a racing driver, it is short moments that determine success or failure. Therefore, I have to always be 100 percent at the top, both mentally and physically. For me, STATE is a wildly interesting product that, unlike ordinary energy drinks, can give me long-lasting and stable energy. It is, among other things, therefore, that I have chosen to enter into a long-term collaboration with Christian Eriksen, Caroline Wozniacki and STATE. And then I've even got my very own flavour, which will be launched in July, says Kevin Magnussen.

Christian Eriksen, who is currently at the World Cup in football, is already looking forward to working with Kevin Magnussen:

- We are very pleased to be able to welcome Kevin Magnussen. For me, it is a unique opportunity to work together with the best sports stars in Denmark across sports and on a great product. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming collaboration and to really show Caroline and Kevin what I can do on the tennis court and behind the wheel - of course with a STATE by my side, says Christian Eriksen.

Facts about STATE:

STATE is sold in three different variants in more than 800 stores in Denmark. The Danish energy drink is a revolutionary alternative to regular sugary sports and energy drinks. STATE differs by containing the complex carbohydrate/sugar palatinose, which ensures stable blood sugar over time and keeps the energy at its peak for several hours. Reducing fluctuations in blood sugar also reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. In addition, palatinosis is not harmful to the teeth.

STATE also contains caffeine, taurine, the B vitamins B6 and B12 and important electrolytes. All products are produced in Denmark.

The group of owners consists, among others, of footballer Christian Eriksen and former footballer Kris Stadsgaard, comedian Carsten Bang, professor Jens Bangsbo and several others. The former Carlsberg director, Michael Iuul, acts daily as chairman of the board.
